Reflexology is a non-intrusive, holistic complementary therapy

Reflexology applies gentle pressure to the reflex areas of the feet or hands which brings about a state of deep relaxation and stimulates the body’s own healing process

The theory behind reflexology is that the organs, glands, and nerves are connected to reflex / pressure points on the hands and feet. By using a technique of compression and massage with fingers and thumbs, a direct response is created in that area and the body becomes rebalanced. Reflexology of the feet will include of top of the foot, left foot, right foot and toes.

Reflexology Can Help With:
  • Difficulty Sleeping / Insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Back and Neck Pain
  • Foot Pain
  • Stress
  • Digestive Problems
  • Circulatory Problems
  • Swollen arms, legs and ankles
Reflexology in the comfort of your own home

I visit you in your home and bring all my own equipment including a specialist reflexology chair, towels, pillows and candles. After treatment, I’ll make my own way out so you can sit back, drift off and continue to enjoy the benefits of your relaxing treatment.

I will visit you in your own home in the following areas: Blackawton, Dartmouth, Salcombe, Bantham, Thurlestone, Loddiswell, Dittisham, Kingsbridge, Chillington and Totnes. This list is not exhaustive so please ask me if your location is not mentioned!

Please note a mileage surcharge may be applicable if you live in an area I don’t cover – please contact me if you’d like to know more.

For those who might prefer a clinic environment you can can see me at locations in Dartmouth, Totnes and Chillington. Please contact me to book your treatment in clinic.
Treatments
Reflexology

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body.

Reflexologists work holistically with their clients and aim to work alongside allopathic healthcare to promote better health for their clients.
Aromareflex

Aromareflex combines the power of essential oils and Reflexology together. You will receive a full reflexology treatment and to enhance the benefit of the treatment you will have a blend of oils chosen for just for you. It an extremely relaxing and nurturing experience.

Fertility Reflexology

One in three couples will experience fertility problems when trying to conceive a baby. Fertility reflexology, also know as Reproflexology, works in a number of ways to enhance your natural fertility, and is much more affordable than expensive private treatments.
Hot Stone Reflexology

As the name implies, the treatment involves using smooth stones which are heated and are used to massage the lower leg and to carry out the reflexology. Hot stone reflexology can be incorporated into a reflexology treatment or are used for the whole treatment with no thumb walking at all; using large stones to warm and massage the legs and feet, and small stones to work reflex points and more specific areas.

Maternity Reflexology

Relaxation during pregnancy is important for mother and child. Maternity reflexology calms mum and baby, encourages communication between you, and relieves many of the common symptoms brought on by pregnancy.

The benefits of maternity reflexology are well researched. Studies show that women who have reflexology during pregnancy have significantly less pain during labour, experience shorter first stage labour and sleep better post pregnancy.
Endometriosis Reflexology

Endometriosis is a common, benign, oestrogen-dependent, chronic gynaecological disorder associated with pelvic pain and infertility. Endometriosis is a debilitating disease and its effects go beyond causing pain. In some cases, it can lead to depression.

All too often, there is little or no follow up after formal diagnosis and treatment so women actively seek information and respite from other sources including holistic therapies such as reflexology.
Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) via Massage

Lymphoedema is defined as tissue swelling due to the failure of lymph drainage. Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) is used to treat conditions other than lymphoedema, and RLD may be used similarly.

RLD is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet through a massaging technique. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc(Hons), whilst working in Cancer Care. The results appear to support the theory of reflexology.
