Baptisms
In baptism, we thank God for his gift of life and publicly acknowledge his love. In the Church of England it is common to baptise young children; this is sometimes known, outside the church, as christening.
Baptism is a 'sacrament' (holy ritual to symbolise grace) in the Christian tradition that is traced back to Jesus himself being baptised in the river Jordan.
We welcome all from this parish for baptism, including those who regularly attend worship here but live in another parish in the wider area.
We also welcome children of parents married at All Saints’, Thurlestone and children of parents, grandparents or great grandparents who regularly attend worship at All Saints’, Thurlestone.
Baptism enquiries should be made to the Rector, Revd. Daniel Hartley, on 01548-562727 or 07864 630326.
