The Group Heating Oil Scheme enables us to buy heating oil at a discount to the normal price by combining up the requirements of many 10's of households within Thurlestone.
Once you have joined the scheme your road / area representative will contact you periodically asking if you need any heating oil. You can specify how much oil you need such as: a number of litres, a percentage of the tank filled, or filled right up. Your requirements will be consolidated with the rest of the households on the scheme and, on completion, a bulk tanker will deliver to you some time during the next couple of weeks. There is no need to have a delivery each time you are asked and you are still free to arrange your own delivery if you get out of step with the bulk orders.
